New addition to the Neighbours Clan

Richelle and Charlie weclome Katelyn in late July 2010. It slowed down Richelle for about a month, and now they are back to full speed ahead...

Summer Graduations

In the summer, we had several graduations.

Luke D. has his 6th grade graduation. His class was rather small, but they had a very nice ceremony for the three boys.

Tabitha D. graduated among top of her 8th grade class. She also won an award for outstanding student.

Kevin D. participated in CSUSB's graduation ceremony because they didn't have one in March. He was glad he went after being shoved by his wife to go.

Leah J. finished her radiology program at LLU and she passed her boards exam too! Congrats Leah.

Beginning of Summer

For Memorial Day 2010, we had a swim party at Eric and Jamie's. Opportunities for photo opps with all the grandkids together are getting limited so we had to take advantage of this one.

May Update

In May we had a quarter birthday gathering at Eric and Jamie's place on memorial day. I will have to try and corner Jamie for some photos since I wasn't prepared to copy them at the event.

Also, it seems as though the family is becoming more familiar with FaceBook. This site will still be maintained monthly at best and I hope to start to use the Family History section a little more.

In the meantime you can try to find family n FaceBook through our family group site Getting Family Connected on FaceBook

Work in Progress - Family Photo Page

I have made some updates to the family photo page with the latest pictures from Easter at Grandma Durr's house. I have some catching up to do, but this is a good start.

BSN Done! - Posted by Kevin Durr

I finally graduated nursing school. Took a little less than 5 years since I got back from the mission.

I was asked to speak for three minutes. I had prepared a single paragraph that I somehow stretched out into almost two minutes.

I got pinned by the teacher I had three times throughout the program. Luckily she liked my class and made things a little easier.

I was surprised with the department award of "Outstanding Leadership." I have to thank Erin for allowing me to lend some of my free time to extra-cirruclar nursing activities.

What's next? Graduate school in the Fall if I can get all my paperwork in on time. Oh yeah, also that test that just says if I can work as a licensed nurse.

Quarterly Get Together

What a fun time celebrating each others birthdays. Since we decided to get together every quarter instead of every month it has given us a better opportunity to do some fun things. We all had a blast playing broom hockey. Not only was it a great way to hang out but also a good work out!
